Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training
(PSBTEIT), Chandigarh, invites applications for admission to various
diploma courses in affiliated colleges in Chandigarh and Punjab through
Joint Entrance Test (JET 2014).
JET -2014 (Joint Entrance Test) will be conducted by the Board for
admission to various diploma courses which are already being offered
also for courses that have been proposed to be offered in the
institutions. The admission to the institutions will be based on the JET
merit, category wise. Reservation shall be as per reservation policy of
Govt. of Punjab/UT Chandigarh.
JET exam pattern:
Exam will have one paper of 200 questions (English-40, General
awareness and Aptitude-40, Mathematics-40, Physics-40, Chemistry-40)
The question paper will have multiple choice objective type
questions only.
will be no negative marking in the JET.
The
objective type questions shall be answered on a pre-printed Optical Mark
Reader (OMR) answer sheet.
Eligibility:
The candidates should have passed the matriculation or equivalent
examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and
English.
Selection Procedure:
The candidates will be selected based on the merit of the JET.
How To Apply:
The application forms are available at a cost of Rs 50/- in the
affiliated Polytechnic Colleges, Schools, District Education Offices,
Suvidha Centres at Deputy Commissioner Offices in Punjab and also at the
board's office.
Important Dates:
Last date for the submission of the application form is 21st March
2014.
Joint Entrance Test (JET 2014) will be held on 20th April 2014.
