JEE Mains AIRs declared: Documents required for verification

The AIRs for the candidates who appeared for JEE (Mains) have been declared. The rank card consists of the 'All India rank', 'state rank' and 'category rank' of the candidate. It includes the total marks scored by a candidate along with the marks scored by them in individual subjects.
The JEE (Main) counseling session by CSAB for seat allotment  will begin now. For candidates who are eligible to attend the counseling sessions, a list of documents required for verification has been mentioned below:
  • Printout of locked choices and terms and conditions taken from the CSAB website and duly signed by the candidate;
  • Printout of provisional allotment letter;
  • Original documents:
  • Photo ID proof as per Govt. India norms
  • Admit card of JEE (Main)-2014
  • Score card of JEE (Main)-2014 issued by CBSE
  • Class X certificate
  • Certificate and marks sheet of qualifying examination
  • Proof of initial fee (Rs 40, 000) payment
  • Certificate of category (SC/ ST), if applicable
  • Certificate of category of OBC, if applicable
  • If the candidate has passed the qualifying examination from outside India then passport is required for determining the 'State of eligibility'
  • Proof of place of examination center of the final examination from the National Open School for candidates having Senior Secondary Certificate; this is required for determining the 'State of eligibility'
  • One set of self-attested copies of all the documents listed above;
  • One passport size photograph identical to the one pasted on the JEE(Main)2014 application form.
As per the official notification, in case a candidate's persona data viz. category, subcategory, state of eligibility and gender submitted during registration is found to be wrong at the time of verification of the original certificates at reporting centers, their seat allotment is liable to be cancelled.
