The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali has invited applications for the admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme offered in the department of Biological Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences for the academic session 2015.
The institute, which was formed in 2006, is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences and falls under the purview of the Ministry of Human Resource Development. ELIGIBILITY
Interested candidate should have a Master's degree in Science/B.Tech/MBBS/M.Tech with a good academic record and should be GATE/CSIR or UGC-NET/JEST/NBHMJRF/JGEEBILS(TIFR/NCBS)/ICMR-JRF/ DBT-JRF/DST- INSPIRE qualified.
Selection Process: A screening-test/interview would be conducted for the shortlisted candidates.
