JEE (Main) 2015: Result analysis

Image result for jee main resultThe result for Joint Entrance Exam (Main) has been declared online. A total of 1,52,401 candidates have qualified for JEE (Advanced).
Cut off for JEE (Advanced):

General: 105
OBC-NCL: 70
SC: 50
ST: 44
Last year the cut-off was 115 out of a total of 360, this year it is ten marks lower at 105. The cut-off is calculated on the basis of the performance of the candidates who are eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced).

JEE (Main) was conducted on April 4 (paper mode) and April 10 and 11 (online mode). On declaration of the result, the official website had crashed. Moreover, the answer key was found to have certain errors.
Important dates for JEE (Advanced):
Online registration schedule: May 2 to May 7
Schedule for downloading of admit card: May 11 to May 14
Rectification of discrepancies in the admit card: May 11 to May 14
The JEE (Advanced) 2015 will be conducted on May 24
The answer keys will be declared from June 8
The results will be declared from June 18
