Karnatka CET 2015 Exam Postponed from April 29 to May 12

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (K-CET) for the session 2015 scheduled to be held on April 29 and 30, 2015 has been postponed to May 12 and 13, said the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The nationwide strike by Central trade Unions and KSRTC staff federation on April 30 has led to the imminent postponement.
Since the admission test to private colleges COMEDK-2015 is on May 10, for the first time the K-CET is being held after the COMEDK exam. More than 3 lakh students usually appear for these exams.
In a press statement, KEA stated: “CET-2015 exam scheduled to be held on 29th and 30th April and 1st May 2015, has been postponed to 12th and 13th of May 2015 due to one day strike at national level called by the Central Trade Unions and KSRTC Staff Federation. Detailed time table will be hosted here shortly.

Inconvenience caused is regretted.”
The KEA statement note that the government directive has reached the authority in view of the interest of students who may have to travel for the examination centres by KSRTC buses.
Otherwise, the admit cards for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (K-CET) for the session 2015 have been published by KEA and they are uploaded on the official website. To download the admit cards, the candidates should follow the steps listed below:
Go to the official website http://keea.kar.nic.in and click on the tab ‘CET-2015-Admission ticket';
Once the redirected screen appears, two options will be there to download the admission ticket either by using login or by using application number and date of birth.
After entering the correct information, candidates can login and see the admit cards on the screen. The candidates should download the admit cards and carry it with them to the exam hall.
It is compulsory to have the admit card to enter the exam centre, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
K-CET 2015 is held for admission in Engineering, Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, Medicine, Unani, Naturopathy, Architecture, B.Pharma, Pharma-D, B.Sc, Agriculture, Home Science, Engineering in the state of Karnataka.
