Karnataka CET 2015: Important instructions for admission procedure

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the date for the payment of fees for the admissions under the second round of allotment. These admissions are being conducted for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET-K 2015).
The date has been extended up till July 27 as KEA received requests from a number of students to grant them more time to complete their admission process. Earlier, the authorities had asked the selected candidates to complete the formalities regarding payment of fees and downloading the admission order from July 22 to 23. The last date for reporting to colleges was July 24, which has also been extended to July 28.
Steps for candidates after completion of allotment procedure: The candidates who have been allotted a seat in any discipline are required to pay the prescribed fees if not paid already, and should report to the colleges by the last date. They should also update the details through their login ID on the KEA website, otherwise they will lose their allotted seats.

Steps to be followed by candidates who have already paid fees in second round:

• All the candidates, including those who have downloaded the challan and paid the fee in the second round are required to download the fresh challan again, for the seat allotted in the second extended round
• The fee payment made in the earlier round will be adjusted for the seat allotted in the second extended round. If there is no difference in the fee deposited and the fee for the seat allotted in this round, the candidates have to download the admission order from the KEA website and report to their respective college

Steps to be followed if there is a change in the amount of fee in the second round:

• The candidates should download and print challan from KEA website which is in triplicate
• After downloading challan, the candidates have to pay the prescribed fee or the remaining balance fee in any branch of the bank specified by KEA
• After completion of the payment of fee process, the candidates are required to report to their respective colleges

The candidates who had downloaded their admission order but did not report to the college have to download the admission order again. And those who have received an upgrade in their seat allotment are also required to download the new challan again.
