Delhi University invites applications for Ph.D programm

Delhi University has begun the admission process for its Ph.D programmes for the upcoming academic session. The university is offering a two-year Doctor of Philosophy course in Law. The programme is offered by the Faculty of Law. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the prescribed format.
Eligibility criteria: The candidates can check the details regarding the eligibility criteria at the official website, www.du.ac.in.
Application procedure: The candidates can access the information brochure at the official website of Delhi University. They are required to submit their application along with a detailed research proposal to the concerned department of the university.
Application fee: The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 700. Those under the SC, ST, PwD, CW categories are to pay Rs 350.  The payment should be made through a Demand Draft, in favour of the 'Registrar, University of Delhi', payable at any bank in Delhi.

Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of a departmental test and an interview round/viva-voce. Those candidates who have cleared any of these qualifications- CSIR, UGC-NET-JRF, DVT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST are not required to appear for the departmental test, and are eligible to appear for the interview directly.
Important dates: The last date for submitting applications for is September 24.
